Precious "Nerdy P" James

3Ls: Literacy Leadership & Liberation
Precious James is the Founder and Program Director of 3Ls: Literacy, Leadership and Liberation. An Oakland-based organization, currently serving in Sobrante Park, changing literacy outcomes “One Neighborhood at a time”.
She is a former teacher principal and now Assistant Principal of Instruction- STEM, coaching and leading for equitable, antiracist learning environments for all students with Education for Change at Learning Without Limits School in Oakland, CA.
In her current position, Precious supports her team of teachers in the cultivation of antiracist learning culture. She believes wholeheartedly in power and action, "Being antiracist means that learning is contextually centered on who our kids are and that every day they receive a teacher who operates with ALL Kids Can and Will in heart and mind; that teaching is facilitated in grade-level expectations, strong instruction, and academically rigorous high expectations."
Simply put, Precious facilitates learning for teachers and students with an extensive focus on deep belief, agency, and collective efficacy.
Dr. Sabrina "Bri" Moore

3Ls: Literacy Leadership & Liberation
Dr. Sabrina “Bri” Moore is the Founder and Executive Director of 3Ls: Literacy, Leadership and Liberation. An Oakland-based organization, currently serving in Sobrante Park, changing literacy outcomes “One Neighborhood at a time”.
She is a former teacher, principal and now Program Director of Systemic Instructional Review in Oakland California, coaching and leading continuous improvement efforts, working in tandem with the State CCEE and Alameda County offices of Education to support the Oakland Unified School District systems change efforts.
She also works as a coach and facilitator for Leadership for Liberation, an Oakland-based agency where, “through healing and learning, we equip leaders in education to interrupt racism within themselves and their organizations in order to co-design antiracist learning cultures.”
All of that to say, Dr. Bri is a leader who facilitates change one leader, one neighborhood, and one design at a time.
